When a service is generated from AUTOMATION, if I change it manually, or cancel it, is there a risk that the service will return to the original?

When manually modifying a service generated by automation, changes affect its schedule and cancellation. Automation does not restore the original service or reset the schedule, and manual cancellations will not be recreated.

When a service is generated through automation and then manually modified, here are key points to consider:

  1. Editing the Date or Time:
If you manually update the date or time of a service, automation will not restore the original schedule. The new date or time you set will remain fixed and will not be adjusted by the system.

Example: If a service was originally set for the 16th and you move it manually to the 18th, automation will respect that change and not revert it to the 16th.

  2. Manual Cancellation:
If a user cancels a service manually, the service will remain in the system with a "canceled" status. Automation will not recreate the service, and it will stay canceled unless the reservation itself triggers a new service.

  3. Automation and Reservation Cancellation:
Automation will only cancel a service if the reservation that generated it is canceled. Even if the service date was manually changed, the service will be canceled if its original linked reservation is canceled.

Example: If a service initially scheduled for the 16th is moved to the 18th, and the reservation for the 16th is canceled, the service will still be canceled since it was tied to that reservation.

  4. Persistence of Canceled Services:
When a service is manually canceled, it will continue to appear in the service list with a "canceled" status. Automation will not attempt to restore or recreate it. This ensures that the history of canceled services remains visible to users.
